PCFM 5

Yes, M stands for Monday. You all know the story now, so lets get going. The first piece is from Moondoggie. Isn't it cute ? I feel like playing doll house again. It's a rendering of a mid century modern living room with a fireplace. I love it as well as the pod chair at the right. I think the lack of glue isn't a problem here. It looks great and "temporary".

This beautiful paint chip tree is from Tikimama. She posted two versions because she thought it was missing something, and I think she was right. The little cardinal at the right really gives the final touch. (I'm not a baseball fanatic, o.k?) Make sure you check her blog for more details.

Last but not least, mine. You're gonna think I copied Moondoggie's, but no. It was a total coincidence. We had the same idea of the paint chip bricks, only mine is a wall and it's called "Humpty Dumpty" for obvious reasons. I couldn't decide on these two versions, just like Tikimama, so I decided to post both to see what you think. Hope you give me your opinion so I'm able to glue the last piece. I'll post a better picture of "the chosen one" at daylight.

O.K everyone, thanks again for all the support
and nice words about my daughter.

(I kept the bikini.)

See ya !

PCFP 4

Hello everyone ! Today's PCFP is very special. My dear blogger friend Karin Grow joined our paint chip party with these beautiful party decorations. It was the theme for an adult art workshop. Aren't these cute ? Check out her blog for more details on these.

O.K, please hold your breath on the next one. It's my daughter wearing her one and only, custom made, brand new, paint chip bikini. I know, it's too cute, please don't cry.

See you soon my dear friends !!!

Optimistic World

The retro future has always inspired me. Why is it that yesterday's past is so attractive ?????? Maybe the concept of the future back then was safer. Everything looked so pleasant, so peaceful, so organized and easy. All the technology available to us, but still in harmony with nature. Today's concept of the future is a "bit" more scary. All the hazards...chemical contamination, genetic manipulation, etc. I just realized that there's something common in everything that inspire me. It's always about an optimistic world.

Imagine...

Hello !

I've been busy painting a side board that I got at a garage sale. It's so cool...but I'm not posting a picture of it yet because I still need to install the knobs. Meanwhile, let me show you the piece of furniture I DID NOT get at the same garage sale. The granddaughter of the couple hosting the sale wanted to keep it. I almost went on my knees begging her to sell it to me, but she wouldn't. I took a picture of it just to torture myself on it.

Ahh! another reminder that the sale on my Etsy shop ends on Wednesday and two of my pieces are reserved for an exhibition coming over. I'll give more details later.

See you soon!
