Very Inuit

It seems to me that there's a graphic similitude between Mid Century Modern and Inuit art; Ideas are universal.

These pictures were taken at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, at Gatineau, Quebec. I hope you enjoyed the art of the early Canadians as well as the Inuit inspired architecture and art at this museum.

  1. very nice and quite interesting, Veronica:)

  2. It's funny that you mentioned that there are similarities, because I was thinking the same thing. Then I got to the bottom and what do you know? You said the same thing.

    The photos are great! Thanks.

  3. Beautiful art and building! You are right about the similarities of shape and abstraction and color between the two. So interesting.

  4. This is very interesting, Veronica. Thank you for making the connection!! (PS - My husband is here now, and he says he loves your work). :)
